RENT A BIKE

Bike Truckee is pleased to offer a full fleet of bike rentals to meet your recreation needs.  Find performance, full-suspension and electric (standard and 24") mountain bikes as well as comfort cruisers, children's bikes, trailers, trail-a-bikes, and tandems.

All rentals include a helmet and a bike lock is available upon request.

Electric Bikes

We have a fleet of comfort road electric bikes that have powerful Bosch mid drive motors to flatten out the steepest of hills.  With a range of 35-50 miles these bikes are up for any adventure.  Try a tour up around Tahoe Donner or around Donner Lake and up the historic Old Highway 40.

Full Suspension Mountain Bikes

Our new fleet of Specialized Carbon Stump Jumpers have 150mm of front and rear travel.  These 29" wheel bikes are light nimble and are easy riding bikes are up for any trail you want to tackle.

Electric Mountain Bikes
Feel the uphill flow as you climb hills like never before.  Electric mountain bikes allow you to ride farther, faster, and smoother and tackle hills and obstacles that you would not normally attempt on a traditional bike. Multiple pedal assist levels allow you to get the workout you desire at speeds you like.

Performance Mountain Bikes

We offer a fleet of KHS Tempe 29er mountain bikes with a smooth riding air front shock and hydraulic disc brakes.  These bikes are perfect for getting off the pavement and on to the dirt!

24" Electric Mountain Bikes

We have the Bulls 24e bike for little shredders ages 8 to about 12 years old.  Theses capable bikes sport a Bosch motor, hydraulic disc brakes, and front suspension.  These are easy riding bikes and have a 500 w/hr battery that will outlast mom and dad.

Comfort Bikes

We offer Specialized Roll comfort bikes.  These are the ultimate plush ride with a comfy seat, and a comfortable riding position.

For The Kids

We have 24" wheel bikes for kids as well as 20" wheel bikes for smaller children.  These Specialized bikes feature Shimano components and are easy to ride.

Trailers

These Thule Cadence trailers fit two small children and there is storage in the back for all your goodies.  These trailers are rated for up to 100 lbs and are appropriate for children ages 12 months-4 years.

Trail a Bikes

These are great devices for the little ones who may have a hard time keeping up on their own.  Trail-a-bikes are appropriate for children ages 4-9 and have a weight maximum of 80lbs.
